NASB Disestablishment Ceremony

Tuesday, May 31

  • Wind Ensemble members will be dismissed from class at 11:15 to change into concert clothing
  • Bus leaves at 11:30 am
  • Bands start playing at 1:00
  • Ceremony begins at 1:30
  • Bus returns at approximately 3:30 (or whenever the ceremony is over)

Dress

Boys- Black dress pants, white shirt with collar, black dress shoes.
Girls- Black skirt or pants, white blouse. Black dress shoes.


Memorial Day Parade

Monday, May 30

  • Report to MTA Band Room before 8:00am
    at 8:00, Eagles Way will be closed to all traffic
  • Dress

Band Uniform with WHITE shoes and WHITE socks

  • Be in the MAMS Band Room at 6:00

  • Girls: Colorful dress, skirt with blouse or dress pant outfit

2:30 MTA arrives at Orion- leave cases and clothing in MAMS Band Room
2:45 MTA rehearses in Orion
3:40 MTA in MAMS Band Room for additional rehearsal if needed
4:30 MTA, BHS & MHS line up in Gym for combined band rehearsal
* MTA seniors set up stage for combined band
5:30 Dinner in Cafeteria
6:00 Change into concert clothing
6:20 MTA warm up in MAMS Band Room
6:50 MTA takes seats in audience (front section, stage right)
7:00 Concert begins- order=MHS, BHS, MTA, Combined Band

* After the concert, folding chairs need to be put in racks, and stands in racks - Black Stand Racks=MTA • Silver Stand Racks=OPAC

Concert Dress:
Boys Dress shirt (with top button bottoned!) & necktie, dress pants
Girls Dress, skirt & blouse or dressy pants outfit

Desserts- We are providing desserts for dinner. Please bring them to school on Tuesday and leave them in the Band Room or have a parent deliver them to the MAMS cafeteria by 5:00

Meet in the Band room at 5:45

  • Band members are to report to the Mt. Ararat HS Band Room by 5:45 pm

  • We will NOT be wearing football shirts. Wear layers of clothing as appropriate for the weather conditions. Wear blue jeans and sneakers.

  • The game starts at 7:00
