Online sites to help you prepare to take the Accuplacer test
The ACCUPLACER tests are used for placement by community colleges in Maine and across the country. Low scores will place you into remedial level coursework, which you need to pay for, but for which you do not receive college credit. Check with individual schools for their respective cut-off scores.
ACCUPLACER Practice Test (Lee College)
Almost entirely English/verbal questions, sorted by type of question (sentence relationship, reading comprehension, sentence correction, etc.).
Math practice (University of Texas Tutoring and Learning Center)
Practice questions for basic, intermediate, and college-level are set up as online tests with the option of checking your answers as you go.
