End of School INFO
The last day of school for Mt. Ararat High School is Thursday, June 19th. It is the make-up day for exams. There will be no transportation for high school student on June 19th.
Monday, June 16th, is a full day (buses will run as normal),
Tuesday, June 17th, buses will depart at 10:42 a.m.
Wednesday, June 18th, buses will depart at 12:00 p.m.
Breakfast will be served on Monday - Wednesday, June 16th - 19th, however lunch will only be served on Monday June 16th.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Students wising to compete in the Super Smash Bros. Brawl TEAM tournament on Thursday, May 15, need to register in the library as soon as possible. Teams will consist of two players. If you don't have a partner, we will assign you one at the tournament.
LAB 'rats will meet after school on Wednesday, May 14 to finalize plans for the brawl tournament.
The MTA Computer Center scholarship is due by 3:30 on Tuesday, May 13th. See Mrs Thibotot in guidance for more information.
Attention students interested in taking the annual Trig-Star exam. The exam will be administered Tuesday, May 13th, after school in room 305. Please see Ms. Walker, Ms. Palmer, or Ms. Grimm for information packets.
Summer Drivers Ed. class, June 2nd, Mt. Ararat High School, forms available in SAO, DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS MAY 23RD!!
The Portland Sea Dogs Scholarship application is now available in the guidance office. It requires only an essay and the value is $1,000.
The Bowdoinham Community School Alumni Scholarship is now available in the guidance office. The value is $500 and the deadline is Friday, May 16.
The AJM Memorial Scholarship application is now available to any senior boy who will be attending UMO in the fall. This scholarship is for $1,000 and is renewable. Application can be found in the guidance office deadline for submission is Friday, May 16th., questions see Mr. Holmes in the PE department.
Friends of Parkview Hospital Auxilary is offering a $1,000 scholarship to any high school senior interested in continuing his/her interest in the field of health discipline. Deadline is May 30. Applications are available in guidance.

Augusta College Fair is Thursday, May 15.The deadline for signing up and returning permission has been extended to Monday, May 12. Pick up permission forms in Guidance. Late permission will be accepted on a space available base only. List of colleges, professional schools and military branches available from advisors or www.neacac.org
Attention juniors: have you thought about your senior photos? How would you like to have your picture taken for $1. The TAP room will be selling raffle tickets for $1 for the chance to win a photo shoot, at the location of your choice.
Attention Class of 2009! This year's project to weed and mulch at the Highlands Estates has been scheduled for
Saturday, May 10 from 8:00 - 4:00
with a rain date/finish up date of Saturday May 24th.
The Highlands will make a donation of $25/unit and there are approximately 120 units so there is the potential for the Class to earn $3000!!
Here are the details:
Work will be done in 2 hours shifts (8-10. 10-12, 12-2, 2-4)
We need 16 students and 2 adults per shift
Wheelbarrows and mulch will be provided
We need to provide our own small gardening tools, rakes and gloves. Contact Ms. Ludwig for more information.

If you would like to request a marching partner for graduation, please pick up a Marching Partner Request Form in the Main Office and fill it out.
The form must be returned to the Main Office no later than Wednesday, May 21. After that date, marching and seating assignments for graduation will be made. Late requests will not be honored.
Any Senior who is graduating but does not wish to take part in the graduation ceremony needs to see their Guidance Counselor ASAP.
