The Coastal Youth Orchestra was established in 2002 to provide a high-quality orchestral experience for string students of all levels and more advanced wind and brass musicians. CYO works to provide a fun, stimulating and challenging setting in which young students can develop their musical skills and learn about performance and music literature.

Information for Returning Players
CYO Chamber Orchestra
- On September 7th, the CYO Chamber Orchestra will be having returning students play a short 1-3 minute piece or exerpt for conductors.
- It is a good process for students to go through and it is important for the conductors to check in and hear students individually each year. It also helps us in choosing music of appropriate levels.
- Regular rehearsals will begin on September 14th from 5:30-7:00 (Chamber Orchestra)
- Students can register on the on the 7th or the 14th.
Fiddleheads
- Regular rehearsals will begin on September 14th. 3:45-4:45
- Parents should plan to come in and register their child prior to the rehearsal start. Please email with any questions.
