Student Resource Center

Student Resource Center includes (1) full-text articles from 800 magazines, (2) full-text newspaper articles from Knight-Ridder/Tribune, (3) 41,000 primary source documents, including diaries, letters and recordings, (4) 16,000 timeline event descriptions, (5) 15,000 photographs, maps and graphics, (6) full-text articles from encyclopedias and almanacs, (7) 8,200 biographies, (8) 3,500 essays on places, cultures and events, (9) health information module.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center draws on the acclaimed social issues series published by Greenhaven Press, as well as core reference content from other Gale and Macmillan Reference USA sources to provide a complete one-stop source for information on social issues. Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles.

SIRS

SIRS Knowledge Source includes Researcher, Renaissance and Government Reporter. It provides full-text articles from newspapers and magazines on a variety of topics. Researcher includes articles relating to science and social issues; Renaissance includes articles relating to arts and humanities issues; and Government Reporter includes current and historic government documents. Coverage is from 1989 through the present.

MARVEL! Maine's Virtual Library

Provides database access for all Maine residents. Databases can be accessed from schools, libraries, as well as from home. Includes MAS Ultra - School Edition, ProQuest Newspapers, Maine Newsstand, Health Source, MEDLINE, Annals of American History, Literature Resource Center, NoveList and Access Science.
