Books 'n Munchies

Welcome to Books 'n Munchies -- Mt. Ararat High School's book group for students. Open to all students, this group will meet once a month to talk about a book and to munch. See Mrs. Gordon in the Library for more information.

Community Read is coming! Copies of Grapes of Wrath and Out of the Dust will be ready after Winter Break to check out in the library. The reading period is January and February with activities planned for March.

January

The Perfect Storm

Uses interviews, memoirs, radio conversations, and technical research to recreate the last days of the crew of the Andrea Gail, a fishing boat that was lost in a storm off the coast of Nova Scotia in October 1991.

Our next meeting is Monday, January 8 at 2:15 pm in the Library. We will be watching the movie at our meeting.
