JuneBring Your Own BooksOur next meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 9 at 7:45 am. Please bring two or three books to recommend to the rest of the group for summer reading. We will be meeting at the Bohemian Coffee House in Brunswick (by Hannaford). SeptemberEmpire FallsMiles Roby, called back from college to the small town of Empire Falls in Dexter County, Maine to take care of his ailing mother, falls into a rut that keeps him trapped until years later when a series of revelations and tragedies jolts him back into an awareness of his life. The September meeting of Books 'n Munchies will be Wednesday, September 15 at 7:45 am. Need to find the book? Mt. Ararat has multiple copies. Local public libraries have copies of the book as well. Want to own your own copy? Check local bookstores (Bookland and Gulf of Maine in Brunswick) or check online for great used book deals.
