Internet Use Policies

Students will have no reasonable expectation of privacy to any materials transferred by or stored within the network. Inspection can occur at any time and without any cause.
It is the responsibility of students using the computer not to access inappropriate materials. Library staff members shall be the final judge of the acceptability of materials.
Computers may not be used for chat, games or word processing.

Students who come to the library must have a pass, except during their lunch period.
Students are expected to come directly to the library from study hall or class. Errands are permitted only with permission from a library staff person.
Students using the research area are expected to work quietly.
Students using the quiet study area are expected to work with no talking whatsoever. They must have work or reading to do for the entire period.
Students are expected to follow directions given by the library staff.
Students are expected to behave courteously and to respect other people and their property.
Students are expected not to move furniture and to sit no more than five people to a table.
Food and beverages are not permitted in the library.
Personal stereo equipment is not permitted in the library.
