Internet Use Policies
- Students will have no reasonable expectation of
privacy to any materials transferred by or stored
within the network. Inspection can occur at any time
and without any cause.
- It is the responsibility of students using the
computer not to access inappropriate materials. Library
staff members shall be the final judge of the
acceptability of materials.
- Computers may not be used for chat, games or word
processing.
Student Behavior
- Students who come to the library must have a pass,
except during their lunch period.
- Students are expected to come directly to the
library from study hall or class. Errands are permitted
only with permission from a library staff person.
- Students using the research area are expected to
work quietly.
- Students using the quiet study area are expected to
work with no talking whatsoever. They must have work or
reading to do for the entire period.
- Students are expected to follow directions given by
the library staff.
- Students are expected to behave courteously and to
respect other people and their property.
- Students are expected not to move furniture and to
sit no more than five people to a table.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in the
library.
- Personal stereo equipment is not permitted in the
library.
