Updated May 2009

Directions to each of the schools in the KVAC/PTC are provided below. Several schools have facilities that are located away from the school site, and where possible, sites are described. However, due to changes from year to year, not all are mentioned. Telephone numbers (and Web addresses in most cases) for schools and off-site venues have been provided in case additional directions are needed.

Please note: Road construction projects, landmark changes, and other factors may affect these directions. You may wish to visit school/facility websites or consult an updated Internet site (i.e. Google Maps) prior to travelling.

Directions: Take Exit 185 (Broadway) off I-95. Go right at lightt. Go through 4 sets of lights (Rite Aid is on right at 4th set of lights). Go over a hill; WZON radio station is on right (you will see high school behind the station). Take next right onto Hobart St . Soccer field is on left (behind and to the left of softball field); field hockey is on right; tennis courts are behind the softball field; cross-country course is beyond the tennis courts; gym is to left of school building.

Site: Cameron Stadium
Directions: Take Exit 187 (Hogan Rd.) off I-95. Bear right. At the 2nd set of lights, turn right onto Mt. Hope Ave. Go about 1 mile, then turn left onto Howard St. At stop sign, turn right onto Garland St. Cohen Middle School is on right; the field and the track are directly behind the school.

Directions: Take Exit 183 (Airport/Hammond St.) off I-95. Go right off the exit. Go about .5 miles and take a left onto 14th St. (You will go over the Interstate overpass first.) Mansfield Complex and Sawyer Arena are on your right approximately .3 miles down 13th St .

Directions: From North or South, take I-95 to Bangor and take Exit 185 (formerly 48), Broadway. Turn right off the exit and go 1 mile. At the light just after the Rite Aid turn left onto Husson Ave. and proceed to stop sign. The campus is directly in front of you. The pool is in the Newman Athletic Facility/Gymnasium.

Directions: Located between State St. and Wilson St. After passing front of high school, go to the lights and turn left to next set of lights (Wilson St .). Turn onto Wilson St. and go .5 miles. Parking lot is on right at Brewer Auditorium.

Directions: The facility is off Rte. 15 South (the main road that follows the Penobscot River from Brewer to Bucksport) in Orrington. Follow 395 and take Exit 4 onto South Main St. (Rte. 15 South). Course is on left about 2 miles from exit.

Directions: YMCA is located on 2nd St. in Bangor (off Union St). If you are coming from high school, go past school to lights. Take a left and then bear left at traffic island and follow this road (Wilson St.) to Chamberlain Bridge. Cross bridge through one set of lights. 2nd St. is first left at top of hill. The YMCA is on right.

Directions to campus: Off I-95 South OR North take Exit 193 ( Stillwater Avenue/Old Town) and turn toward Burger King and shopping center. Turn right at 4th traffic light by McDonald's and KFC and go down College Ave. Take 3rd left onto Munson Rd. at first University of Maine sign. Alternatively, off I-95 South take Exit 191 (Kelly Rd.). Turn right at end of exit, drive 1 mile to red flashing light. Take left onto Rte. 2. Drive 2.5 miles to the 3rd set of traffic lights. Turn left onto College Ave.

Directions: Take I-95 South to Topsham Exit No 31A. Go right off exit on Rte. 196E, and go by shopping center on the right (McDonald's on corner), then up a hill. At top of hill, head right toward Brunswick on Rte. 201. Cross the Androscoggin River and continue straight through downtown Brunswick . Go up a hill -- there is a large white church on left. Continue straight (do not go around church -- Bowdoin College is on your left). Go past Parkview Hospital . You will come to a fork in the road, bear right onto Maquoit Rd. High school is on right (look for sign).

Directions: Coming into Brunswick on Maine St. from Topsham, take a quick left onto Mason St. (Rte. 1) and then quick right onto Federal St. At about a half-mile, turn left onto Jordan Ave. Edwards Field will eventually be on right.

Just past The Helm turn left onto Main St. Follow Main St./Wiley Rd. all the way to end, which is about 2.4 miles. Turn left onto Hosmer Pond Rd.; Camden Snow Bowl is about 1 mile on left.

Directions: I-95 north to Exit 180 (Coldbrook Rd. exit). Take right off exit. Travel about 1½ miles to set of lights. It's easier to go straight through to Rte. 1A, you can't go any further. Proceed straight through intersection. Go past a stone house. Go right at stop sign, pass over a stream, and proceed up big hill. You are coming to center of town. Go straight through lights and proceed to Weatherbee School, which is on right. Pull into roadway and bear right to McGraw School. Soccer field is behind the school. (Hampden Academy itself is on left just past Weatherbee School.)

Take a right at traffic light and bear left down hill to Topsham Fairgrounds Field. (For Highland Green Golf Club, take a left instead of a right at this same intersection.)

Directions: From Waterville, go out Main St. past Elm Plaza and straight out to Norridgewock. Go through Norridgewock past the monument, and take Rte. 2 West toward Farmington, then follow signs for Rtes. 2 and 4 (South or West), watching for Burns Well Drilling on left (past Shop-N-Save on right; if you pass a shopping center on left, you have gone too far.) Turn left at Burns Well Drilling, go about 1 mile, veering right at fork in road. High school is on right. Playing fields are to right of parking lot.

Directions: As you come into Farmington from Norridgewock, baseball field is across from McDonald's.

Directions: From Rtes. 2 and 27, when you come into Farmington, take a left onto Rte. 2 at stop light. Stay on Rte. 2 for 7 miles. Turn right onto Rte. 156 and go 1 mile. Look for Academy Hill School on right. Tennis courts are at rear of parking lot.

Directions: From Rtes. 2 and 27, when you come into Farmington take a left onto Rte. 2 at stop light. Stay on Rte. 2 for 7 miles. Turn right onto Rte. 156 and go to stop sign. (Academy is on right.) Turn left, then a quick right (gas station on left corner), staying on 156. A half-mile on left will be monuments for Wiles Funeral Home. Take sharp left. Park is on right 1/4 mile High St.).

Directions: Go through Fairfield on Rte. 201, turn right at downtown light and go across three bridges. Follow signs to Unity, staying on Rte. 139. When you reach Unity, stay on Rte. 220 by turning left, then immediately right by store with RR signs. Go about ¼ mile and at Depot Store follow Rte. 220 around to right.
