Sports Travel Directory
This directory is included to provide people with a route to
each of the schools in the KVAC, in addition to several outside
the Conference. Several schools have outdoor facitilites that
are located away from the actual school site. Where possible,
these sites are described, yet due to changes from year to year
not all are mentioned. In some cases the telephone number of
the school's athletic department has been provided in case extra
information is needed.

Bangor High School 941-6200
295 North (changes to 95). Take exit 185 for Broadway / ME-15, turn right at Broadway/ ME-15N. Take
a right at the bottom of the hill onto Grand View Ave.School
is on the right.
Bangor HS, Sawyer Arena (hockey)
295 North (changes to 95)
to Exit 183, Airport/Hammond St. At the light take
a right. Go about a half mile, passing over the Interstate)
and take a left on Fourteenth Street. Mansfield Complex and
Sawyer Arena are on your right about a quarter mile down Fourteenth.

Rt. 1 North to Belfast. Once in Belfast go through one light and get in middle lane, stay on Rt. 1 North. After going across overpass, get in right lane and exit right onto ME - 7 - Waldo Ave. school is on right. 95 North to Augusta and Rt. 3 east can also be used as a route.

to exit 182a onto I-395. Take exit
5. Parkway South exit and turn
right. Entrance to school is 1/10
of a mile on left.
Brighton Academy
Take I-95 south to Exit 17, Yarmouth. Follow Route 115 all the way to North Windham. In North Windham, take Route 302 West/North (right) and follow 302 all the way to Bridgton. In Bridgton youll come to a traffic light at Route 117. Go straight through light onto Route 117 -- Brighton Academy is up the road on the left.

Take Rt. 201 into Brunswick onto Maine Street. Follow Maine Street until it forks right onto Maquoit Rd. Follow Maquoit Rd. for 1/2 mile. School is on right.
Camden Hill High School
Take Route 1 to Route 90. Follow Route 90 through the intersection of Route 17. Continuining up Route 90, Camden Hills High School will be on the left.

Travel 95 North to exit 109, take US202E toward August and merge onto Western Ave, at Memorial Circle take the 2nd exit onto us-201, at the traffic circe take the 2nd exit onto Cony St/ ME 105E .
Edward Little, Walton School Fields (football)
Turn left from turnpike exit 12 (Auburn). Dirve about 4 miles to first set of traffic lights and bear right onto High Street. Take first right onto Academy Street and go to end. Turn right onto Main Street and continue straight through two sets of traffic lights and a flashing red light. Turn left onto Seventh Street (just beyond church). Go almost to end: Walton School and fields are on left.
Erskine Academy 445-2962
95 North to 1st Augusta Exit. Take right onto 202 East. Go through lst traffic circle and cross bridge to 2nd circle. Take first exit on right off traffic circle and take a left onto Rt. 17 at the light. Follow Rt. 17 to Windsor and take a left onto Rt. 32. Erskine is 8 miles down road on left.
Gardiner 582-3150
95 North to 2nd Gardiner exit just before toll booth. Take right onto Rt. 126. After about 3 miles take a left onto West Hill Rd. just before bridge. School is 3/4 of mile ahead on right.
Hampden Academy
Take exit 44 on interstate 95. Turn right at off ramp. Take right at first set of lights, getting on to Rt. 202. Take left at set of lights where 202 ends. Intersecting Rt. 9. Go down Rt. 9 to set of lights and turn right, down Main Street. Hampden Academy is on your left and the soccer fields are across the street behind the elementary schools.

95 North and take exit 35. Turn right and take third street on right to school. Second street on right goes to all playing fields.
Leavitt High School 225-3533
Take 196 to Lewistion. Cross bridge into Auburn. Take Rt. 4 North to intersection of Rt. 117. Take a right onto 117. After crossing a bridge take a right. This road leads directly to Leavitt H.S.
Lewiston, LAPD Field
Take Route 196 to Lewiston as if going to Lewiston HS. Turn right near the Martel School (which leads to Lewiston HS). Go by Lewiston HS and take a left at the next light.Continue to the second set of lights, a 5-way intersection. Take a 45-degree right onto Central Street. 500 yards down the street you will see the Armory and St. Marys Hospital. The field is behind these buildings, across from Bates College.
Lincoln Academy, Newcastle 563-3596
Rt. 1 North to Newcaslte-Damariscotta exit on right to Business Rt. #1. At first intersection go straight and take a left at the blinking yellow light. Follow road for 1/2 mile. School is on right.
Livermore
Go to Auburn, take Route 4 to Turner and cross Auburn River into Livermore. Take right and continue until Cedar Street on left. See elementary school. The high school is behind the elementary school.
Maranacook, Readfield 685-4923
95 North and take exit 35 follow exit sign West Winthrop
202. Travel appox. 3 miles and after lights take a left onto Rt. 17 West. Travel 7 miles and school is set off from road on right.
Marshwood
Take Exit 2 off of I-95. At the lights, take a right onto Sanford Road. Go about half a mile and take a left onto Route 9. Follow the road to the center of North Berwick. At this set of lights, take a left onto Route 4. Stay on Route 4 to the center of South Berwick. Take a left at this intersection. Go about half a mile and take a left onto Route 236. The high school is about 3 miles down on the right.
Massabesic
Take I-95 south to Exit 4, Biddeford. Go west on Route 11. At about 10 miles, in Alfred, take a right onto Route 202 and go 4 miles to traffic light in center of Waterboro. Take a left and find school down road on left.
MCI, Pittsfield 487-3355
95 North to exit 38. Take a right from ramp and school is at 1 South Main Street.
Medomak Valley, Waldoboro 832-5389
Rt. 1 North, 14 miles past Newcastle to Waldoboro. Take a left on Manktown Rd. which is 4 mile from junction on Rt. 32 and Rt. 1 School is 1/4 mile up on left.

95 North to exit 33. Turn left and head west. At bottom of long hill, 5 way intersection, go straight, cross RR tracks and Jr. High is on right. At next intersection, Oak St., take a right. School is 1/2 mile on right.
Morse, Bath 443-8250
Rt. 1 North to Congress Ave. exit. Bear right off exit. Take first right onto Congress Ave. School is 8/10 mile ahead.
Mountain Valley
Take Route 4 north out of Auburn. Pick up Route 108 in Livermore and follow it to Route 2, Mexico. Continue towards Rumford. When you cross a small bridge you see the athletic fields on the right across from a factory. Fans can park there or go up the hill ad take the first right to the field entrance.
Mt. Blue, Farmington 778-3561
95 North to exit 31. Turn right onto Rt. 27 north and follow all the way to intersection of Rt. 2. Take a left onto Rt. 2 travel to Farmington. At intersection of Rt. 4 take a left, cross a bridge and take next left. At Shop & Save intersection take another left. School is one mile down road.
Mt. Desert
From Ellsworth take Route 3 east to the head of the Island, about 9 miles. Bear right onto Route 102 to Somesville. At the light take a left onto Route 198 and at about 2 miles take a left onto Route 233. MDI is located a half mile down 233.
Mt. View, Thorndike 568-3255
95 North to Fairfield exit 35. Turn right onto Rt. 139 and follow into Fairfield and across river. Continue on 139 to Unity. Road will merge with Rt. 202. At that intersection take a right toward Thorndike. School is on this road.
Nokomis High School
From I-95 heading north take first Newport exit 157 and turn left onto Rte 7 Go 2 ½ miles to Rte 2E and continue straight through shopping/fast food area. After going 2-3 miles, look for Noah's Ark Animal Farm on right, and take next left onto Williams Rd. School is about 1 mile on the left.
North Yarmouth Academy, Travis Roy Ice Arena
From I-95 south take Exit 16, the first Yarmouth exit. Take a right onto Route 1 north. Go straight through the first traffic light. A quarter mile past the light you see Travis Roy Ice Arena. Park in the Arena parking lot - fields are to the left.
Oak Hill, Sabattus 375-4950
95 North to 2nd Gardiner exit. Take a left onto Rt. 126. Travel 16 miles and look for road at angle on left. School is on this road 1/2 mile ahead.
Oxford Hills, South Paris 743-5342
Rt. 196 to Lewiston and pick up Rt. 201/11 West and follow signs to Mechanic Falls. From Mechanic Falls take Rt. 121 to intersection of Rt. 26. Turn right onto Rt. 26 and continue to intersection of 117/26. School is at this intersection.
Portland, Preble Street Field
From I-295 take Exit 7, Franklin Street. Take a right the the first light off exit onto Marginal Way. At next light turn right onto Preble Street. Just beyond underpass, field is on right.
Presque Isle Athletic Complex
Complex is located on Skyway Street. Coming into Presque Islefrom Rt. 1 will put you on South Main Street. At the third traffic light, turn left on State Street, go to the next traffic light, turn right on Parsons Street. Next turn left on State Road (Rt. 227) and one more left turn onto Skyway Street. The soccer field is on the right.
Rockland 596-2010
Rt. 1 North to Rockland. Turn right at McDonalds. At the Birch St. blinking light, turn left. School is on right after traffic light on Broadway St.
Skowhegan 474-5511
95 North to exit 36. Go West on 201 to Skowhegan. At intersection of 201A and 2 there will be a traffic light. Travel straight through onto 201A. The school is 3/4 of a mile ahead on left. 2nd road after the police barracks.
Waterville 873-2751
95 North to exit 33. Take a right and travel to the traffic light near Pizza Hut. Take a left here then take first right onto Lincoln St. and go 1 mile past Seton hospital to a blinking light. At this intersection, go straight on Western Ave. about 1/4 mile. Just before the blinking light take a left onto Messalonskee Ave. Travel 2 blocks and school is on left.
Windham High School/Middle School
Windham High School in Windham, Maine is located on Route 202, one mile west of the Foster’s Corner Rotary (intersection of Routes 302 and 202).
Travel south on Maine Turnpike to Gray, Exit 63 (formerly exit 11). Turn left onto Route 202/115 S. In a few miles Route 115 will split to the right, continue straight on Route 202 W. A few more miles will take you to Foster’s Corner Rotary. Continue straight on Route 202 W for one mile. Windham High School will be on right. Entrance road is beyond school.

95 North to exit 34. Turn right on 104 and travel through downtown Waterville and at Major intersection of 104/201 take a left across the bridge. Get in middle lane and go up the hill after crossing. Go 2 blocks and turn left near Fortins TV. School is at end of this street.
Wiscasset 882-7722
Route 1 north to blinking light at intersection of Route 27. Take a left here. After half a mile school is on left.
